New specs! :)

Got a brand new look!! :)

As Australian permanent residents, we now have eye check covered by the government under Medicare health insurance. And because we also have a private health insurance which also reimburse $90 for a new pair of spectacles each year, I thought I should change my glasses. Gee....

I have been having the previous glasses for 3 years already and I checked my sight before in Malaysia, 2 years ago and I knew that I needed a new pair of glasses but I didn't have the money. It was until the eye test I had to take as part of my Australian PR visa, which I knew that I ought to get a new pair of glasses.

And voila, good news! My eyesight power has decreased! I think it must be because I rarely use the computer as compared to the times when I was in undergraduate when I had to be online with my family everyday. Also, maybe because the lighting I have is much better? I don't know. I'm just too happy that I have a brand new look and a better vision! What else can I ask for more? Hehe.

So I went to Specsavers THREE times because I was quite fussy and I wanted to get a look that suits me best. Chio, young and studious. Tee hee hee. I guess the fashion trending now is dark rim? So I changed from a transition half frame glasses to a full frame now. How do I look?? I think I'm quite happy with it. Chin Fei, my brother, Alwin (through whatsapp) and Hui Min helped me pick it and dad and mum thinks I look very studious now. I think it's a good comment since I'll be graduating with a PhD degree soon so I need to look smart, no? Hehe.
