Just got our bedding and furniture from Harvey Norman! So excited that everything is coming to place! :) Our sofa was a 2+3 and unfortunately, the 3 seater was too big to fit into the lift, no matter how the two movers tried. So unluckily, they had to carry that heavy 3 seater through the stairwell up into our house. We feel so embarrassed and pitied those two guys, who by the time they arrived our place, were sweating from head to toe, literally. Thank you very much to those two men who still insisted on carrying it up without our help because "it was their job". We appreciate it a lot and will now think twice when buying a big item. :)
Although we got our furniture in already, but because the place wasn't set up properly, we couldn't invite anyone into our house for New Year eve countdown (well, at least we could have a good night's rest that night. Too many nights sleeping on the floor already!!). So we went out to Northbridge Piazza where they were showing Kung Fu Panda before having dinner at Outback Jacks. The guy at the cashier counter wasn't friendly at all and charged us for our drinks despite the waitress telling us that it would be free for all of us because we had vouchers. The cashier told us to point to him who the waitress was so that he could tell her that it was wrong. I think it was bad of him because it was just a lemon lime bitter so why bother charging us that when we have already confirmed with the waitress that it was free? Idiot guy. Never going to eat in Outback Jacks, Northbridge anymore!! Bad service!
We were supposed to hang out until midnight but the crowd became too rowdy in Northbridge. So after having some drinks in San Churros, we went home and all of us slept before it was New Years. Haha. What a way to usher in 2012? Next year, we will never stay in Perth for New Year anymore. It's just too boring!!
