Big people should pay more for flying

The other day, I was debating with Chin Fei about overweight people needing to pay more for flying. I don't remember how we came to this topic but it was a really good discussion as I totally support for the decision to charge overweight people more. I know it's wrong to discriminate people but wouldn't you think that it is simply quite unfair that the small-sized people pay the same price for a flight ticket as the bigger-sized people and yet they have to put up with sitting so squashed with those big people (or maybe sometimes between two big people) throughout a flight? Worse is that the big person manage to purchase a flight ticket for a cheaper cost during a sale period compared to the small size person who bought his or her ticket at a normal price. If airlines can charge someone for having an extra leg-room for the tall ones, why can't they charge people for paying two seats to occupy their size? Since airlines are also penalizing passengers carrying overweight luggages, why can't they charge extra for those who are overweight themselves? But then again, the question would be "what is the allowed weight then or body circumference size before someone has to pay for a double seat?" There are still a lot of questions needed to be answered before airlines can set up the rules and regulations.

I am a frequent flier and thank God I have not encountered this problem before and I can't seem to imagine how uncomfortable it will be if I have to put through this through a long-haul journey. I hope that I would never have to!
