Love messages

So the other night, I was teasing this hubby of mine about how unromantic he is ... sometimes. Tee hee hee. We always end our conversations on the phone (except when we're working because pai seh mar) with "I Love You. Each time before we sleep, we also exchange "I Love You"s too. And each time we go to work or when we come back, we'll say the 3 words. Occasionally, we'll say that when we're cooking too. So ya, I guess when there's just 2 people who see each other daily and live in a tiny house, that's the only thing you say to break the silence. LOL.

So the other night, before we slept, I was teasing him about why we always say "I Love You" to each other instead of saying something else. Something more expressive and romantic. When he was courting me (or was it the other way round? LOL), we used to send each other forwarded beautiful poetry messages. Not like we're very artistic and romantic in creating a corny phrase or something; we just send each other messages that we get from other friends! Hehehe. Messages something along the lines like, "Some people may treat you as the sun that lights up the sky, but I want you to be my moon that shines in the darkness". You get what I mean.

Obviously, that teasing didn't end on a good note and poor Chin Fei was left irritated and annoyed when he went to bed. Haha. I guess I pick the wrong time of talking about it? :P But yeah, anyway, my dear hubby, our 8 years of relationship is like a tree. It's not measured by how tall it is; but how deep the roots have grown. :)
