We just came back from a 3 days 2 nights stay down south in Western Australia! Now I understand why people say is better to visit south rather than north of Western Australia (unless you're talking about way way up north like in Broome) because south is just so beautiful with so many beaches and crystal clear water to offer. North is all about sand and rocks. Kinda dull place. :P
Because we have been to Margaret River and Augusta before, this time, we decided to not go all the way down to the most south westerly tip of Western Australia but to just hang around the western edge of Geographe Bay.
We dropped by Busselton and I immediately fell in love with the place. Busselton is all about the jetty. Stretching at about 1.8 km across the Geographe Bay, this is the longest timber-piled jetty in the Southern Hemisphere. Unfortunately, when we went there, the jetty was under refurbishment and that meant that we couldn't walk on the jetty which means that we gotta come back again. :)

There is also a train track on the jetty which brings tourists all the way out 1.8 km to the sea, which apparently brings people to an Underwater Observatory, if they are lazy to walk that far. But because it was under refurbishment, the entire jetty past the Interpretative Centre, was close.

The water is crystal clear that it's crazy not to dip into the water to have some fun, especially since it's summer!!!
Look! I can see my feet! :)

Even the sand is so pure white and fine. The last time I remember visiting such a beautiful place is in Whitsunday Coast, Queeensland.
Busselton Jetty stretches out in a curved form. So if you stand on the right of the jetty. You can see the tail of it, which is nice for a photography.
There are nice parks around too, which makes it perfect for a family outing.
We also drove towards Naturaliste, stopping by Dunsborough and Eagle Bay for some photos by the beach.
We didn't stay long outdoors though because it was very hot and there were lots of houseflies that it became impossible to stop and pose for just a second for a photo.

Because we have been to Cape Leeuwin, we decided not to enter Cape Naturaliste and just took a photo outside.
Cape Naturaliste
We went back again to Busselton Jetty after that to take some sunset photos there. :)
I got my souvenir coin too from Busselton and Cape Naturaliste although I didn't enter! :P Will be back for the Busselton Jetty refurbishment souvenir coin again! :)
