So the other day I said that Chin Fei and I were going to watch the sunset and we sure did! :) It was our second time watching sunset together. *grins* Now I know what my boss meant when he said that I could just drive 10 minutes from home just to see sunset. Yes, it's quite funny how my boss can tell me these kind of things. Hehe.

We were really surprised to see that we weren't the only lonely souls in the beach (it was a good weather then though). There are residential homes and a park nearby the beach so there were lots of people, especially young kids there, cycling and playing in the park. Some young couples (like us) sat on the lawn and watch the sunset while a couple of families were playing frisbees. There were tourists taking pictures of the breathtaking view and some elderly walking their dogs. It was such a relaxing sight.
Initially, I was a bit mad at Chin Fei because he chose to take countless pictures of the sunset rather than strolling by the beach with me. But I guess without those pictures, we wouldn't have the sweet memory. :) But he said that the next time we visit the beach, we would not take the camera along anymore. I do hope so! :P
So after his oh-so-long-hours of taking pictures, he managed to finally let the camera go and take my hand instead. :P I suggested to him a game to see who leaves his/her standing position first when the waves come crashing before our shoes get wet. Haha. And I won. :P
The best part was that while watching the sun set, we could also see the moon, which happened to be a full moon on that day. :) Now, this is our second time in a time like that after visiting a sand dune in Brisbane two years ago. :) We started singing "Yue Liang Dai Biao Wo De Xin" (English translation: The moon represents my heart) by Teresa Teng while walking hand in hand. Hehe.
We then drove to a Thai restaurant in the city which serves way much nicer and cheaper food than the one we tried on my birthday. Even the decor in the restaurant was much nicer. I especially liked the lotus origami they did with the serviettes. Gee... :)
This morning at work, I received an sms from Chin Fei. A part of it said:
I'm touched. I cherish the moments we have together. :)
...this weekend really keeps a very sweet memory in our life. I hope you do feel the same and cherish as much as I do....
I'm touched. I cherish the moments we have together. :)
